How to Copy Trade Crypto in 5 Minutes (Step by Step)
A simple, step-by-step walkthrough: sign up, fund your wallet, find a verified trader, and copy your first trade — all for free and non-custodial.
You can go from zero to copying a professional trader in about five minutes. Here's exactly how.
1. Create your free account
Sign up with your email and set up two-factor authentication. PurffleTrade automatically creates a built-in, non-custodial wallet for you — no browser extension or MetaMask required. You can also connect your own wallet if you prefer.
2. Fund your wallet
Add USDC on the Arbitrum network to your wallet. You can send it from an exchange like Binance or Coinbase, from another wallet, or buy it with a card. The minimum to start is just 5 USDC.
New to this? Read our step-by-step deposit guide — it shows exactly how to withdraw USDC from Binance, Coinbase, Bybit and more.
3. Find a verified trader
Open Discover and browse the leaderboard. Every trader shows a real, on-chain win rate, P&L and number of copiers. Look for consistency over time, not just one lucky week.
4. Copy your first trade
- 1Open a trader's profile or a trade in your feed.
- 2Tap Mimic to copy that trade once, or Auto-copy to mirror everything they do.
- 3Set your position size and a maximum leverage cap.
- 4Set a take-profit and stop-loss so your risk is defined up front.
5. Let it run
Your copy executes as a real order. When the trader closes — or your take-profit/stop-loss is hit — your position closes automatically. You can manage or close any position yourself from the Wallet page at any time.
